Dear Friend of the Dimon Institute,

Greetings and Happy New Year!

With 2026 ahead of us, several new projects are in the works. First, we will be offering an intensive 8-week course on Ted’s new book outlining the principles of developmental movement. The curriculum will cover a range of topics including basic developmental systems (touch, proprioception, vertebrate design), stages of movement (prone, crawling, clambering), and anatomical systems (upright support, spiral musculature, rotational movements). The course will begin on March 16 and will meet 3 days a week for a total of 4 hours each week. For more details click here.

Second, we’re thrilled to announce the upcoming new edition of Anatomy of the Moving Body, available this spring. With the 2nd edition in print for over 20 years, Anatomy of the Moving Body was ready for an update. Ted and his long-time collaborator G. David Brown have completely replaced all of the images with brand new, full-color illustrations, along with a new series of wonderful drawings of joints and body mechanics. We invite you to join us for a preview of the book in a series of talks beginning Friday January 23rd. To register click here.

Ted will also be giving a series of weekly online drop-in classes beginning Monday February 2nd at 12pm NYC time on Zoom. These classes are open to everyone at no charge and will cover a range of practical and theoretical topics. No need to register just drop in by clicking here.

More projects are in the works for the upcoming year – stay tuned!

All the best,

The Dimon Institute
